The Mindpax solution was created by a team of experienced clinicians and biostatisticians based on longitudinal studies. Patients were monitored for sleep, activity, symptomatology, clinical state, medication and life events.
Mindpax System
Actigraphy Device
The activity sensor is a part of a small, lightweight, waterproof bracelet with a battery that lasts up to 12 months without charging. The data are transmitted to the Mindpax application and sent to a secure database for activity and sleep calculations, displayed in the app and on the doctor’s web portal.
Mobile Application
The mobile application collects symptomatological data and provides disease-relevant feedback and personalized psychoeducation. It also works as transmission system and sources other supportive data. Users of the mobile application can decide to share their data with their clinicians.
Doctor’s Portal
The Doctor’s Portal provides a comprehensive visualization of long-term patient data and their relationship. From the data visualization, it is possible to capture, for example, the influence of changes in medication or psychosocial factors on the patient’s health condition.

The key moment with the Mindpax system was for me during my last significant mood swing in the fall. The doctor viewed all the Mindpax graphs for the past years to show me the course of the disease. We looked at the graph together and discussed it. I could see what my disease looked like.
Mindpax monitors my sleep and mood. In the past, I wrote down my sleep and mood changes every day. I don't have to do that anymore. Another positive outcome is that my doctor can use the data to help me manage my disease. I also believe that the system may bring valid information about the treatment success.
