3.1 Intended use

Mindpax M2 product is a continuous, long-term disease monitoring system for patients with psychiatric disease with the purpose of providing psychoeducational suggestions to increase their competency of self-management, prevent relapse and increase the duration of remissions.

Additionally, mental health treatment professionals (doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists) can access the data for diagnostic and therapeutic support.

Patient Population

The features of Mindpax M2 differ based on patient diagnosis.

Patients are adults (age >= 18 years) diagnosed with:

Schizophrenia (F20, F25): Disease symptoms are monitored using early warning signs questionnaires filled in by patients and carers.

Mood disorders (F3X): Disease symptoms are monitored using a commercially available activity tracker and mood questionnaires filled in by patients.
